Mountain Bike Clinics
Josh has experience coaching both kids and adults. He currently creates mountain bike curriculum and is head coach at Velo Kids out of Holland and Grand Haven. He is also a coach for Ninja MTB Performance that hosts mountain bike skills clinics across the nation. Josh is certified through Professional Mountain Bike Instructors Association (PMBIA).

Our clinics will help you with building a better relationship between you and your bike. Additionally, you will learn how to corner with control, ride steeper terrain, and manage obstacles on the trail.
If you’re new to mountain biking or have experience on the bike Compass MTB has clinic for you. One of the benefits of taking clinics is that you are meeting other bikers with your passion of improving stoke.

2024 Clinics
Intro to Drops
Date: Saturday, September 7, 2024
Time: 2pm-5pm
Place: Mosquito Creek Trails
Cost: $75/person. Proceeds of the fee will go towards Mosquito Creek Trails.
Do you want to open up new lines on the trail? Would you rather not ride around the feature? Learn to hit drops with confidence and make your friends jealous. There are only 8 spots available so everyone signed up will get one-on-one attention and video feedback. $75/person for the clinic.
MTB Fundamentals Clinic
Date: Sunday, September 8, 2024
Time: 2pm-5pm
Place: Mosquito Creek Trails
Cost: $75/person. Proceeds of the fee will go towards Mosquito Creek Trails.
Are you looking at having more fun on your rides? Want to be more confident on your bike? Conquer some tougher terrain? Whether you are new to the sport or have been riding for some time this clinic is for you. The first half of the clinic we will be working on bike/body separation, braking (front and rear), and cadence and shifting. The second half we will be on the trail applying the skills we worked on earlier. This will be limited to 8 riders so everyone signed up will get one-on-one attention and video feedback. $75/person for the clinic and proceeds from the fee will go back to Mosquito Creek Trails.
Intro to Jumping

Women's MTB Clinic

Women, are you looking at having more fun on your rides? Want to be more confident on your bike? Learn in a stress free and fun environment? This clinic meets you where you are as a rider and advances your skill while enjoying the company of other women riders. The clinic will focus on fundamentals in the first half and progress to the trail and work on applying what we learned in the second half. Cornering Clinic
